QUESTION

What's the difference between Vegan & Whole-Food, Plant-Based (WFPB)? 

ANSWER

The answer is covered in great detail on our members-only free resources page, but the primary food preparation difference between the two is the use of oil and highly processed sweeteners and products. WFPB cooking requires minimal to no oil use, no highly refined, high-glycemic, sugars and no highly processed and highly refined foods (cane sugar, deep-fried products, high fructose corn syrup-laden products, white flour, white pastas, white rice), etc... 

QUESTION

Which do you sell, WFPB, Vegan or both?

ANSWER

We focus on providing flavaful, WFPB-centered products, using minimal oils and no highly refined sweeteners. There are a couple of dishes that we prepare that do contain soy chorizo and wheat-gluten based crumbles (Loaded Lasagna and our signature Chorizo and Sweet Potato Chili but those items in those two offerings can be substituted, upon request, for a small upcharge. 

NOTE: Our desserts, with the exception of two, are vegan, not WFPB.

How does your shipping cost work? 

ANSWER

Our pricing for domestic shipping is standardized based on the USPS large flat rate box rate. The differentiation is how many products can fit in one box with the air pillows and packaging materials. Each 8 x8 square box holds up to 3 of our large, family-size stand up pouch food products. Once that number is exceeded, the system charges you for the cost of another flat rate box to compensate for the use of a larger box and more packaging. 

 

Our goal is to come up with a superior pricing model for you as we continue to grow our logistics.

Do you cater?

Great question! While no longer a standard service offering, we do meet with inquiring clients to explore select private, corporate, special event opportunities that align with our mission. We also offer service-specific food services that come bundled within larger services offerings ie. Vegucation 101 or In-Person Lunch & Learn Cooking Demos.

Do you host cooking classes at your kitchen?

ANSWER

We no longer offer in-culinary kitchen classes but do offer virtual, in-home or in-office cook-a-longs, demos and vegucation 101's, all of which come with a delectable vegan food spread!  We also offer demos and classes at your community and/or event space.

What is vegucation?

ANSWER

Vegucation is our term for sharing the evidence-based benefits of a 100% plant-based lifestyle in conjunction with lectures, cooking classes or demos and Q & A surrounding the health benefits of consuming a minimally-processed whole grains, vegetables, beans, legumes, fruits, herbs and spices.

Where are you EDD Summits held?

ANSWER

Our EDD summits are held indoors in spaces where lectures, demos and tastings can take place. Primarily taking place in specialized event centers, EDD Summits are also held on college campuses, churches, libraries and community centers,
