What's the difference between Vegan & Whole-Food, Plant-Based (WFPB)? 

ANSWER

The answer is covered in great detail on our members-only free resources page, but the primary food preparation difference between the two is the use of oil and highly processed sweeteners and products. WFPB cooking requires minimal to no oil use, no highly refined, high-glycemic, sugars and no highly processed and highly refined foods (cane sugar, deep-fried products, high fructose corn syrup-laden products, white flour, white pastas, white rice), etc...

which one do you sell?

ANSWER

We focus on providing flavaful, WFPB-centered products, using minimal oils and no highly refined sweeteners. There are a couple of dishes that we prepare that do contain soy chorizo and wheat-gluten based crumbles (Loaded Lasagna and our signature Chorizo and Sweet Potato Chili but those items in those two offerings can be substituted, upon request, for a small upcharge. 

NOTE: Our vegan desserts, with the exception of two, are vegan, not WFPB.

How does your shipping cost work? 

ANSWER

Our pricing for domestic shipping is standardized based on the USPS large flat rate box rate. The differentiation is how many products can fit in one box with the air pillows and packaging materials. Each 8 x8 square box holds up to 3 of our large, family-size stand up pouch food products. Once that number is exceeded, the system charges you for the cost of another flat rate box to compensate for the use of a larger box and more packaging. 

 

Our goal is to come up with a superior pricing model for you as we continue to grow our logistics.

Do you cater only vegan food?

ANSWER

We offer corporate catering and other niche catering services. that are 100% WFPB vegan.

Do you host cooking classes at your kitchen?

ANSWER

From corporate teams to small groups (no more than 10), we do teach and host 90 minute cooking classes at our kitchen, which is conveniently located off of Hwy I-85 Pelham Road area (Greenville/Greer). 

We also provide virtual vegan cook-a-longs, corporate cooking demos and vegucation 101's both of which come with a delectable vegan food spread! 

QUESTION

Why can't I order and pick up the same day? 

ANSWER

We operate out of a lovely, DHEC-approved commissary, shared-use kitchen, which means, we have to schedule in and share our kitchen with many other food companies.  So, our time is limited per week but we are often able to meet you, given proper notice, at a day/time not offered on the pick up schedule-just add a note to your order to contact you and we will do our best to work with you!
