Recently awarded $10,000 economic impact support from Beyoncé’s beyGOOD foundation as well as kudos and a feature with forbes-listed, Miyoko’s Creamery founder, Miyoko Schinner, Dawn's unique nutritive, culinary and clinical approach to teaching the benefits of a plant-based lifestyle has struck a chord that resonates with a wide diaspora of people.
Committed to the mitigation of health disparities as well as inequitable food access and information pipelines within food insecure communities, Dawn and Team Herban Eats, works to develop strategic corporate and community relationships that further grow her personal and professional health-wealth mission to radicalize wellness with vegucation and flava.
Dawn holds a Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies (eCornell), a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Virginia State University, is mentored by renowned clinician Milton Mills, MD and has cooked professionally for over two decades.
